Girls Fight Dirty

A British saying identifies the difference between two popular sports thus: "Football (soccer) is a gentleman's sport played by hooligans, while rugby is a hooligan's sport played by gentlemen."

Certainly there are exceptions, but if you haven't been watching Sportscenter the past week, then check this out.

What's really impressive (and slightly disturbing) is that none of the major offenses even drew a card - she ended up with just one yellow for a "minor" trip.

  1. I like the part at the end where she just bashes the girl's head back and forth between her arms. Classy.

The blonde girl with short hair is kind of cute too.

  2. Nice, way to represent for the 505 ladies. Seriously though, I'm not too surprised since the UNM/BYU rivalry was pretty intense across all athletics. I'm not sure what spawned it, but something about being around Mormons drives Lobos completely bonkers.

I'm pretty sure this girl needs to, and will, be suspended for at least the season for this. Being responsible for putting UNM in such a negative light nationwide is not gonna win her any friends with the administration.
