You did a nice job of picking photos where the subject has that “pensive yet in control of the situation” look of the original. Acutally, how would one describe the expression on the President’s face in the original?

Shepard Fairey, the original artist (er, the graphic artist, not the photographer whose image was used) said he wanted an image in which Obama appeared “wise but not intimidating.”

That’s pretty good stuff. I was disappointed to not be included, but then I don’t think I have ever mastered the Obama Face…
[ This is where JBruce would make a joke about the O-Face. I'll leave it as an exercise to the reader to fill that in.]

Michael, I think you may in fact have mastered the Obama face, (see above). I just ran out of GIMP time in my post lunch time wasting yesterday
Congratulations, by the way!

No worries Brian, although I have to say that I’m pretty pleased with how mine turned out. I’m not sure it’s really a good Obama face since I’m maybe looking a little too far off-camera and that might not be indicative of strong enough determination? dunno.
Also, when in the dashboard view your last comment got truncated into “… I just ran out of GIMP” which is pretty awesome.

Are you using a plugin or action script to do this? Pretty cool either way.
