…to admit that you’re excited about the new Indiana Jones movie, then you’re only kidding yourself.

Yes, it’s true that Harrison Ford has gotten a bit older. And it’s also true that this latest edition will probably rely on more CG effects, which would eliminate the charm of the old-school action sequences from the earlier films. Still, though, I challenge any of you who enjoyed Indiana Jones movies in the past to watch the trailer that debuted today and not be a little giddy.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull! This other thing looks pretty fun, too!

Of course, given that I’m a huge fan of pulp-style action stories (whether on film, audio, or in the written word), I’m probably a little biased. Anyways, I just hope they make sure to have some Indy vs. a lot of snakes scenes. Those are always fun.
