My friend Jeannette and I moved a bunch of my stuff down to Greenbelt yesterday, and after dinner we went to walk around campus.  To get back to the car, we were walking around the student union building, which I hadn’t actually done yet (as it’s the side facing away from the astro building…), and Jeannette yells “Is that Kermit!” and runs up the sidewalk.  There’s a statue of Jim Henson sitting on a stone bench talking to Kermit, sitting on the bench back.  Of course, she insisted on photos of her sitting on the bench with them.

And, as an aside on how not used to city living I am, we noticed a big bug on the sidewalk, and we both actually had to discuss it in order to concur that it’s not just a big beetle… it was probably a cockroach.   When I think of cockroaches, I think of these.
