Knocked Up

It’s been a while since there have been any movie reviews on the blog…

Here’s the short synopsis, Knocked Up is painfully funny at times and takes what could be a really crappy idea (there are about a million bad “she got pregnant” movies out there) and does it really well.

The only bad part is the very end. Yeah, we didn’t need to see pictures of crowning. Even though you’ve been warned, you won’t be able to avoid it though, it’s a fast jump to the image.

Two thumbs up.

    Thanks for the warning about the end, I’ll do what I can to shield my eyes.

    Speaking of movies, it’s worth nothing that the Green Flash (if capitalized sounds like a superhero?) plays a key role in Pirates III. Nice little bone tossed to the nerds.

    The only problem with Pirates is that the green flash isn’t quite as pronounced as that. Really, you just seen the sun set and then see a little crescent of green.

    Which is still kind of cool.

    There’s a good reference to Matisyahu in Knocked Up too.
