Yahoo is reporting that Anna Nicole Smith just died mysteriously.

So, I’m floundering my way through a proposal, but that’s better than being dead.

Well, it doesn’t really, I’m just feeling kind of overwhelmed.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it, but the kitchen at my house is currently an empty room. I think they’re going to finish tiling the floor today maybe it’ll be grouted when I get home too or that might be happening tomorrow. All the cabinets arrived yesterday so the dining room and part of the living room is stacked with them.

In short, living just isn’t as comfortable as it could be.

The thing that’s really frustrating me at the moment though is an HST proposal that I’m writing single-handedly. It has one very sexy result with a fairly high chance of working and one less sexy result that would actually be useful to astronomy. The problems are: 1) I’ve never done an HST proposal before and I’m doing it on my own. 2) I’ve never used NICMOS and it’s not obvious which filters are better than others for what I want to do.

Anyway, it looks like I might have mis-chosen my filters so I need to start the technical analysis from zero. And the deadline is tomorrow. Fudge.
