Oh, and I just found out that there’s a way to get shows off of tivo and onto a mac. Hmm, I wonder what I’ll be doing later tonight. Yup, that’s right, transcoding!

regarding the tivo, does that work for any kind of DVR-type technology? I’ve been reading up on it, and my DBR has a usb port among other things… inquiring minds want to know.

I was watching an ad for the show last night on MNF (with guest host Sly Stallone, good times) and there’s one model with a crazy icicle-wing costume. K liked it. I did too.

Pulling things off Tivo works!
Unfortunately, my Tivo is connected to other things via a 11 mb wireless connection so moving a ~2 GB video takes a while. But if y’all want said 2 GB video, it’s now possible to share.
