How to insert pictures in your posts.
Thursday, September 7th, 2006It’s really not tricky at all.
1) Type your post and then put the cursor where you want the picture to eventually show up.
2) Down below the “Post” window and below the “myMooMus”, you should see a tab that says “Upload” and a button that says “Choose File”. Click that button and the select the file you want to upload. Then click the “Upload” button.
3) That area of the page will change and you should see a thumbnail of your picture. Click on the thumbnail and select “Using Thumbnail” which will turn into “Using Original” so that you link the real image rather than the thumbnail. Then click on “Send to editor” and the html code will be inserted into your post.
4) Profit!

Thursday, September 7th, 2006Well, an electronic smile, but a positive experience (or two) nonetheless.
(1) I got my bro a gift certificate for his birthday, but he was in the middle of moving so I guess he never got it. Or something. Anyway, I want to give a shout out to Joseph Valenti of Live Adventure Company for being extremely helpful, contacting me when he saw that the certificate had not been used and then offering to reissue it to the new address. Quick, efficient, polite, helpful. Wow, I sound like a piece of Ebay feedback.
(2) Turns out my neurosis regarding keeping my powerbook cool was not completely unfounded – I finally looked at the serial number of my battery, and sure enough it’s within the range of those that blow up (nice job, Sony: first this and now you can’t make the PS3 on time?) so I arranged to send it back. The surprise, though, was how easy the whole process was – just fill out a little form on their website and they’ll send me a replacement battery along with a postage-paid envelope for me to return the “bad” battery. Good stuff.

latest news on steve is that his family has turned down offer of a state funeral but the man has been recently likened to princess di of all people. it’s a terrible reflection on australian culture that we don’t like anyone until they die. the first headline i read about stevo’s demise was that americans were devestated. hhhhmmmmm.
although i must say that i think the similarities in hairstyles is astounding.
