Footballer weirdness…

Tuesday, September 5th, 2006

This one is mostly for Michael, Jenn, and other fans of the footie.

I gotta say, this one’s about as strange as they come, and as Michael has shown us before certain athletic types can be rather commited.

Back to your regularly-scheduled drudgery…

Tuesday, September 5th, 2006

Now that I’m back to the usual grind (plus, for this week at least, the extra pace of GA training) after Sara’s visit this past weekend, I just wanted to say how much fun Sara had playing softball with us and meeting lots of y’all in person finally at the pick-up game on Saturday. Many thanks again to John for spurring us along on that one and making for a fun afternoon.

Thanks also to Michael and Karli for playing hosts during a rainy afternoon. We had a nice visit consisting of a superb lunch of tomato soup and Welsh rarebit followed by a couple of solid hours of board-gaming distraction.

Anyways, in addition to Saturday afternoon’s softball action, Sara and I hiked the Velvet Rocks trail here in Hanover that morning, so we were able to enjoy some time outdoors in spite of Sunday’s disagreeable weather. My guess is that Michael, Jeremy, and Pete will appreciate the T-shirt Sara is wearing. :)

Timewasting: Keystone Light ed

Tuesday, September 5th, 2006

To those studying or working on quals, you might want to wait until you’re done.  In the meantime, you can only imagine the greatness that awaits you at KeystoneLightBeer.com… fun games, UnSmooth videos, etc.  The beer may be complete crap, but they’ve done a good job with the website.
