Sunday, August 6th, 2006After dominating the 1,000 mile race, and overcoming moose attacks, snow, and ice, leukemia proved too much – Susan Butcher passed away yesterday. She started out as a novelty – oh, look, another woman trying to play with the boys, how cute, and ended up being the dominant force for a decade.
