Mosquitos in New Orleans

I won’t quote the whole Yahoo article here, but I just read something really cool.
To combat mosquitos in all the abandonded pools in New Orleans, they’re not just spraying huge areas with pesticides. They’re putting fish that eat the mosquito larvae into the pools. On one hand, I wouldn’t want to come back to my house and find out that there are trout in my pool, but it is a cool environmentally friendly way of doing things.
Note: they’re not trout, more like guppies.

yeah, that is pretty cool. i wonder if it’s cheaper than spraying? it might be kinda cool to just go out to the back yard and catch dinner.
