…why I’ve been so confused about the date today.

Normally, I’m a little off regarding dates and/or day of the week, but today has been really disorienting for me. This afternoon I figured out why.

April, as I should have remembered from the the old rhyme, has only 30 days, but I assumed that a calendar from my alma mater would get the right number of days for April, or at least be consistent with their mistake by not having today count for double as the first day of May as well.

At least this way, the rest of the year isn’t off because of one goofy mistake in April (and, no, I don’t think it was intended as a much-belated April Fools gag), but I’ve been feeling more silly than usual all day on account of it. Fortunately, I reckon I’ll survive.
