I really don’t know what they’re is talking about, but I thought I’d include it for fun.

I saw a maple whoopie pie at the co-op the other day, and figured, i’ve got to try that. It was fabulous. Like pancakes with icing. I highly recommend them.

Just got into H-town after O’Hare was shut down for most of yesterday afternoon/evening due to huge thunderstorms. Flight was delayed many hours, then once boarded sat on the runway until 1am, then finally flew up to MHT, then driving up in time to see sunrise.

anyway, more reports to come, but they’ll have to wait until afternoon.

as in, jogging. The past three days that I’ve been in Chi-town I’ve been going for a morning run/lift instead of in the evening, and I really like it. Much better way to start the day, and since I’m the first one into my office anyway I am considering a switch over. That said, I know there will be a morning when I’ll fail, since the choice of “sleep or get up and sweat” is a tough one.

Hope the marathon went well for those involved directly and indirectly.

All the best to Scott and Kirsten tomorrow as they run the Vermont City Marathon up in Burlington tomorrow.

I have the greatest respect for long-distance runners, since that’s something that’s just beyond me.

I have x11 set up to display the computer name (apparently, the ip addy not the hard drive name, i’ve lost my reference website to figure what the code means now) as part of my prompt. I hadn’t bothered restoring the IP settings for my static IP after replacing the hard drive, so I’ve been getting weird prompts lately. I just reset the IP, since today, of all things, I got as my prompt…. “jewbaca”. WTF? who comes up with these things? I wish i could remember what I got yesterday now.

Speaking of funny stuff on YouTube, this isn’t bad. 6 minutes is kinda long, but most of it is still decent and the first couple minutes are sweet. Impressive variety.
