I love the quote at the end though. How much do you want to bet that she was thinking something along the lines of “Damn these hicks. I’m going to go somewhere with some culture and let these mongoloids raise their own moron children.”
So, while Winton is away, I borrowed a cook book from him. We had already made a pumpkin cheesecake from it that turned out very tasty (although it said it would make one and we had more than enough for 2 pies). Last night, Holly and I made a Mexican Pasta from the same book. It turned out kinda nasty. So giving the cook book one more chance, I made a banana chocolate chip bread (and since there was room in the oven) a raspberry bar thing. Neither is great, but they are ok. The bars are a bit floury and the bread would be better with nuts, but if you are feeling brave, come sample them, they will be in my office.
If you haven’t spotted the sucker in 15 minutes, you are the sucker.
