So I’m watching the “Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl” in the office while working on stuff, and coming out of halftime the announcers’ audio feed wasn’t working, so there were a nice 5 minutes of quiet – game sounds only, background noises, but no announcers – before ESPN realized it and now the guys back in Bristol are doing the commentary. Lou Holtz and Mark May are pretty good color guys, but it was a lot better just watching the game in peace.

Kinda like the fishtank channel or fireplace channel; makes you realize how low the bar is set.
