What could this possibly mean?

Posted by Nathaniel.

I’m on a mailing list since I bought the curly maple to make the croquet mallet heads. So once a week or so I get an email with a picture of amazingly pretty wood for a fortune.

This week it was quilted spalted maple. If I were making a dining table, I’d definitely consider it.

However, the email was very very odd. I have no idea what the woman was possibly trying to say. Here’s the quote:

Aren’t these cool!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes when it was coming out of the planer. How amazing, this veneer grade log sat in a bog just long enough to make all the really crazy color and pattern.

We have more, I just creamed what we do have to show you the best of the best. Have a great night

What could that last sentence mean? Seriously, is she saying what I think she’s saying?

I’m pretty sure she’s saying what you think she’s saying.

that really is rather odd. kinda creepy, really.

I guess she really likes her wood.

Well, before y’all went and got all dirty, I thought she meant to say, “I culled the cream of the crop”, but whatever. Go enjoy your “naughty milkmaid” fantasies as it suits you…

Also: spalted wood is totally cool. Not just in how it looks, but also in the hit-or-miss method of producing/discovering it.

We could make a bank if we ever sussed out a reliable process to make the stuff via some kind of “spalted wood bog farm” outfit.

Well, the thing is that sentence just doesn’t make any sense at all. I assume she’s not saying that she creamed herself over the wood because that’s not something you would ever say in a business communication. On the other hand, I have no idea what she actually is saying.

And yeah, the pictures of the wood were really nice.

I’ll admit it. My mind was in the gutter on this one too, so I was trying to stay away until I had something not dirty to say. My idea is this: “creamed” is somehow being used in the sense of “the other team totally kicked our ass. we got creamed”?
