iTunes and Amazon

Posted by Nathaniel.

So despite the vote against it, the blog is signed up for two affiliates programs. It looks like there might be monthly minimums for them, so there’s a good chance that nothing will come of it though.

Regardless, if you’re going to buy anything from Amazon or iTunes, click the on the links on the bottom right side of the blog. If you click either of them within 24 hours before buying something, it should get recorded. (Assuming, of course, that you don’t click someone else’s link in the mean time.) If you’re buying something really expensive from Amazon let me know and I’ll change the link to your specific item… that earns a few more points.

Good spending. :)

I just tried to buy a song but the iTunes clickthrough wouldn’t work for me. i think it’s a network settings problem.

It should open up a web page at phobos.apple.com and that kicks iTunes open.

    It works for me.

okay, seems to work now. iTunes was being stupid and I had to try it a couple times, but I think that was more related to the fact that I’m now at a new computer, etc.

nathaniel, can you monitor stuff in (psuedo) real-time? and do we have any idea about what the min threshold is?
