Speaking of cojones

I like Chavez’s guts. It’s important not to go too far, since the guy definitely is no angel, but if for nothing else I’m happy to hoist a pint in a southern direction for a dude who will stand up to the Bully from the North.

    Sounds like he’s a hardcore subsricber to pan-Latin-American liberation theology. A little bit of a different breed than the likes of Che Guevara, who was a staunch Marxist.

    Nevetheless, his motivations may be a bit fanatical and his track record by no means squeaky clean, but I’d much rather buy my oil from a militantly progressive Venezuelan whose policy is colored by liberation theology than from Saudis who provide Bush and his crones with kickbacks.
