1. i’d really like to go buy some ice cream, but i left my wallet at the vet. it was only a matter of time. i always put my wallet down to sign the receipt, and then mira distracts me.
2. stepping on a slug feels really gross. even through 2 inches of shoe. apparently they CAN be squished to death. i don’t know why that surprises me.
3. eggs are best enjoyed when they are fried in bacon grease. mmm, bacon and eggs.

I beg to differ on point #3:
Eggs are best enjoyed when they are scrambled together with some homemade venison/pork sausage made from authentic wild south Texas deer and wild havalina hog, complete with some guarded family secret blend of herbs and spices.
That meal rates high on my all-time best breakfasts list, and definitely takes the prize for the best post-Thanksgiving breakfast, as it was completed by a leftover turkey and homemade horseradish sandwich.
