Ok folks, time for a little bit of cleanup on the old blog.
We have 17 useable categories right now and yet the large majority of all the previous posts fall into “general”. It’s time to go through past posts and make sure that they’re under the right heading.
So here are some rules.
1) Each person is responsible for making sure their own posts are correctly categorized. Do it wrong and I’ll publicly make fun of you.
2) Multiple categories are fine, but if it fits in anything besides “general”, it shouldn’t be included in “general” unless there’s a damn good reason.
I’m going to go through my own posts soon and then spot check all of y’all’s posts. I won’t say when it needs to be done, but you should go through your posts soon. The sooner you do it, the lower the chance that I make fun of you. And I reserve the right to be mean. Ha.

Might I suggest a “wildlife” category? I have a few that would qualify for it.

How about “animals”. That way we don’t need a separate one for pets.

I’ve lumped “insects” into the animals category. i’ve gone through june, july, and august. tediousness.

I think we should also have a “sports” category, ’cause I’ve got a couple of old posts that would fit there better than anywhere else.
