Regarding the article: it’s clever, and perhaps useful to know that we can accelerate the petrolification of trash wood. However it won’t be long at all that the total cost (growth, land, water, processing) of the “wood oil” will be prohibitive anyway… It just pisses me off b/c we already have the damn technology to be petroleum-independent, just not the spine to stand up to the various lobbies and political elements. grr.
