Three things about cars
Posted by Nathaniel.
One: I washed and cleaned out the inside of my car this weekend. Once all the cat fur was cleaned out, the interior went two shades darker. I almost forgot that the seats were charcoal, not just grey.
Two: There’s nothing prettier than a well waxed car after a rainstorm. (Well, obviously there are other things…)
Three: I’m pretty sure I ran over two frogs on my drive home from work. I feel really bad about it given the trouble that frogs are having with pollution/increased UV exposure.

i’ve taken down god knows how many frogs. they swarm the road between gettysburg and chambersburg at dusk/night, so that there’s no way around them. i had to drive that road to get to the state park (where, interestingly, the appalachian trail passes through).
my car hasn’t seen any cleaning since the incident with mira’s tail. i only used water to wipe down the glass, plastic, and vinyl surfaces. also, now there are nose prints all over the windshield and windows. driving at night is like tempting fate. i have windex, i’m just too lazy to use it. it’s such a pain in the ass to clean the interior of the windows. the car also has a nice doggy smell to it. i desperately need to vacuum out the fur, gravel, and dirt. i don’t really care how dirty the exterior gets, as long as i can see through the windows.
