    So Kirsten and I went to see the Guide yesterday.

    If you’ve read the book, it’s entertaining. However, if you haven’t read it recently, the movie makes no sense at all. For example, the Vogons kept smashing the jeweled crabs but there was no explanation of why or why it could be funny. Similarly, the head Vogon’s chair was shaped like an antelope with a crushed back but that wasn’t even mentioned.

    “Don’t Panic” is supposed to be on the front of the Guide too.

    And Earth isn’t even mentioned… definitely not “Mostly Harmless”

    So, as sad as I am to say it, this might be a good movie to wait for on video.
