theme songs
Sunday, April 3rd, 2005So it’s baseball season again, which means that in the 9th inning we’ll have closers running out from the bullpen to the mound.
Thus the question – what entrance song would you use? Of course there are all the normal ones “Welcome To The Jungle”, “Enter Sandman”, etc… but Sox closer Keith Foulke goes with Danzig’s “Mother” which get a few more points.
anyway, the point of this is that if you want a challenge (and diversion from work) then go through your playlist and pick out songs that have a good 15-30 second interval of badass rockage.
for example:
Chris Isaak? not quite Lars Ulrich. however, the first 18 seconds of “Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing” is a definite option (you have to imagine it cranked up to 110 dB on a stadium PA system too)…
I might go with “The Spicy McHaggis Jig” but I’d sure have to cut it off not too late…
maybe Primus?
anyway, just a suggestion if you get bored and want some diversion…
