i'm taking a stab at being totally self-absorbed in the blog, and celebrating the fact that i actually managed to drag my ass out of bed for class this morning. though, really, driving on 2 hours of sleep is much like driving drunk. i really don't think it's safe.
I took my car in to get the oil changed on Friday... with coupon it should have been like $21.95.
Instead, I picked the car up 9 hours later and paid $470.
Brakes are expensive when you need to buy new pads and new rotors.
The good news is that my car is suddenly stopping much more quickly than I've come to expect. The braking is a lot smoother too.
It's about a 2 hour and 45 minute drive for me on Monday mornings once you add in time for me to stop by McDonalds and get my Sausage McMuffin with Egg, return the movies to blockbuster, and get gas.
Anyway, the drive seemed pretty fast this week. Largely because I spent the entire time imagining that I travel the world and win huge amounts of money gambling. I started out in Vegas (or course bringing along all of my friends) then hit Monte Carlo, headed down to South Africa, over to Sydney, up to Hong Kong and then home. First class travel all the way for myself and my companions and a net take of around $7.5M.
Now I just need to figure out how to turn imagination into reality so I can win at a casino.
i have one more problem to do, after bsing a few of the others. i hate thinking this hard this late. and then i'll get home, and i won't be able to sleep. and i *can't* miss the fourth class in a row, and then go skiing on tuesday!
